In this episode, we taste a Spanish Gin from the city of Seville in the south of Spain.
This gin has a very unusual smell or nose.
It reminded both Johns of Fry’s Turkish Delight and the sugar-dusted variety.
John M could even taste chocolate on the palate.
It was not an obvious gin to John L, but an incredibly lovely drink.
Incredibly smooth for the strength of the gin.
Both Johns preferred this gin with tonic rather than neat, as it is lightened up slightly and effectively made it more subtle and refreshing.
This would be a beautiful introduction to Gin for those that are not sure if they like gin or not.
