In this episode, we taste an Australian wine made from a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
A global brand Wolf Blass produce this wine, so we are expecting wonderful things.
John M was surprised to smell strawberry on the nose and could also detect rubber and a slightly smokey smell.
Taste-wise the first taste is strawberry and then this quickly swamped by the tannins which spoil the taste for both of us.
