In this episode, we taste a Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon – a Pionero Reserva from John’s shop’s wine cellar.
The colour of this Morande Pionero Cabernet Sauvignon is between a garnet and burgundy is very pleasant and, on the nose, it smells of cherries and eucalyptus, like you would experience from Cherry Tunes.
A tobacco scent was also detected. Taste-wise Cherries dominate, it has a nice balanced tannin.
A great wine to pair with some cheese.
