In this episode, we taste another Cabernet Sauvignon, Terre de Feu, translated to Land of Fire in English, which this time is produced in Lake County in the Napa region in the USA.
It has been crafted by Camille Benitah who began her career in one of the most famous wine regions in the world – Bordeaux.
The colour is a deep burgundy red, the nose is very delicate which is surprising for a wine being sold at a full price of £22.99.
The taste was considered “meh” by John M and whilst the taste was enjoyed by John L it was far too quickly overtaken by the tannins.
“Just okay” was John M’s immediate response.
In conclusion, not a wine we would recommend we are afraid to say!
