In this episode, we taste a prosecco from Roberts and Reeves.
This wine retails at £11:87 which is nudging towards the top end of prices for Prosecco in the UK.
The bubbles are really vibrant and last longer than in many prosecco wines.
The colour is a lovely vibrant straw colour.
The nose is a very delicate one with pear and stone fruit notes.
On the taste the balance of acidity is excellent and it has a creamy mouthfeel for a Prosecco.
Whilst it was challenging to identify the fruit tastes that made up the overall taste, the taste was very very pleasant and in fact better, in our opinion, than some of the cheaper champagnes.
