Chassaux et Fils Sauternes 2016 Wine review (Episode 379)

In this episode we taste the quintessential dessert wine, a sauternes – Chassaux et Fils Sauternes.

The colour is a very deep golden yellow, almost like a whisky.

The wine has a delightful nose or smell, with lots of fruit scents, almost like a fruit cocktail.

The wine taste absolutely delightful.

The length and mouthful are terrific and the balance of fruit, acidity and alcohol is just right.

Even if you do not normally like sweet wine this wine is still worth a try you may well still enjoy it.
