The Wine Society Crianza Rioja (Episode 418)

This is our first-ever review of one of the wines available from The Wine Society.
The wine society is owned by its members and consistently wins awards as a retailer in the UK.
The first wine we are trying is their own label Crianza Rioja.
The Colour has a brownish hue, and it is quite translucent.
On the nose, the wine has the typical Rioja scent which you do not have to go hunting for!
Taste wine John M felt the taste didn’t quite keep its promise after smelling the wine. Although John M felt it was as one expects from a Crianza.
John L was disappointed in the mouthfeel but thought the taste was particularly good.
