Great Value Chardonnay? Camino del Angel Chardonnay (Episode 388)

We taste an excellent value chardonnay from Chile in this episode.
Camino del Angel’s Chardonnay.
On further research, after filming this episode, we discovered that in fact this brand is owned entirely by a UK supermarket chain – Sainsbury’s so it may well not be available outside of the UK – sorry!
The Colour is very light straw with a hint of lime.
On the nose, there is the obvious scent of stoned fruit as well as Honeydew Melon.
The nose is a typical chardonnay nose.
On the palate, the acidity balance is exactly right, soft but refreshing.
At £6:25 this is an excellent all-rounder and great for a casual drink with friends.
