Santodeno Grillo Sicilia Doc 2020 (Episode 405)

We review the Santodeno Grillo wine from Sicily.
At £8:00 this wine is very reasonably priced.
The colour is a very pale yellow or straw colour.
On the nose, there is an earthy, herbal scent.
There is also a hint of honey or caramelised sweetness.
On the palate the flavours match what we were getting on the nose, it was like a lighter chardonnay.
Stoned fruit flavours come to the fore.
This wine was good enough to be enjoyed on it’s own without food.
