We taste a Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough in New Zealand.
Marlborough is now internationally renowned for its Sauvignon Blanc wines.
The colour is very reminiscent of a chardonnay than a Sauvignon Blanc
There is a wonderful peach aroma on the nose and the taste is not a typical taste of a Sauvignon, the acidity is much lighter than one would normally expect.
John L describes it as a laid-back Sauvignon Blanc.
It is a great refreshing drink for a warm or hot summer evening.
